An exploration in texture and form.

Susan Steindler, was formerly trained as a ceramic artist at Kansas City Art Institute in the mid-1970’s. Her departure into the world of architecture and architectural interior design, was a practical means to an end. And included her skill in form making, color, and lighting. While working for several architecture and design firms in New York. Susan maintained a serious interest in the visual arts.

Primarily focused on wheel altered forms, and freeform hand built sculptural work. Inventing new approaches to clay, an ever changing evolution and opportunity to explore.

Now living in Santa Barbara, CA, she devotes most her time to the ceramic arts, and crafts.
